I loved my lunch the other day. I had the chicken fried steak. It was so good. My husband had the pork chop plate. He really liked it. I will be going back soon and I highly recommend Cypress Creek Inn. Thank you Ben! See you soon.

Definitely a good old fashioned small town diner. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. There isn’t a large variety, and if you are planning to dine there with a large group, they need 24 hours notice. Again, it’s a very small town restaurant. The server (there was only one) knew everyone’s name and their order because they were all from Comfort. Very retro, my MIL ordered a jello salad and she got exactly what you might be thinking (jello on top of lettuce with a dallop of mayo). My husband got chicken fried steak and he was satisfied. The plates your food comes on is one of those divided plates that keep your food from touching each other. Reminiscent of my childhood days, only my favorite cartoon characters were not printed in the plate :P the kids and I got burgers and they were really good. I’m a city girl myself, so I did not enjoy walking in to have the locals stare at us like we were foreigners. But, I’d definitely recommend if you’re passing through Comfort.

If want the best home cooked meals, then you have to travel to Comfort, Tx, where Cypress Creek inn is located. They have the best home cooked breakfast and lunch there. The chicken fried steak tenders with mask potatoes and green beans, so delicious. My son ordered chicken fried chicken lunch and my wife ordered seafood Gumbo. Food comes out straight from the stove to your table. Atmosphere is your typical country style look. Plenty of parking and the service ( Benjamin) is excellent. 5 Stars

We arrived 15 minutes before closing, yet we were greeted warmly. We asked if we were too late to order, we were told no and invited to sit down. The food was good and they didn't push us out the door even when the other two families left. The staff was very funny and kind. Would love to visit again.

I haven't had gumbo in a while and saw it on the menu. It was great and had a good amout of heat to it as well. We also had the cheeseburger, which was a good straight-forward burger with crispy regular cut fries. And great friendly customer service from the moment we walked in the door! Benjamin, sorry we gave you a fright when you opened the door.

What fun! Benjamin was more of a host than a waiter, making sure everyone felt welcome and included. Food was fresh, hot and flavorful and we thoroughly felt part of the Comfort community thanks to Benjamin. We will definitely be back!’
